The chilled cream bun is a new food concept to the Philippine market because its combination of the sweetness of the filling and the bread it is encased with. It definitely not a typical bun to taste because it is best tasted when its chilled that it will melt in your mouth at first bite.

Started with its original founder, Mr. Kaoru Morimitsu, he believed that the name HATTENDO should be the name of the business because it literally means “unlimited prosperity” and opened his first store in Hiroshima back in 1933.

The Company’s success comes from the authenticity and high quality of its products that are hand made in its factory in Hiroshima, Japan ever since it started. Each bun is carefully hand made from the mixing of the flour, water, and yeast to the wrapping of each bun are all done by hand.
